Mission
To promote global eye health, ethics and prevent blindness through specialized training programs, accreditation, education and the certification of Allied Ophthalmic and Optometric Personnel.
In pursuit of its mission, O.A.S.I.S. will bring results in the following areas:
Promote the establishment of training programs
Develop and implement global accreditation standards for training programs
Develop and encourage adoption of standards for certification
Promote education, training, and continuing education resources
